About us
Located in the beautiful Lune Valley countryside on a working farm, we offer a high-quality grooming service tailored to all breeds. Our one-to-one grooming approach ensures that every dog receives my full care and attention, creating a calm, personalised experience. We focus on making every visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, filled with plenty of cuddles and wagging tails.
All grooms are adapted to suit the individual needs of your dog, whether they are playful puppies or cherished senior companions.
Grooming takes place at The Dog Pod — my home studio based on the farm just outside Halton, Lancaster. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
Our Story
Hello and Welcome! My name is Megan, and I grew up on Green Hill Farm, where my passion for caring for and handling animals began at a young age. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience working in various settings, including a Public Open Farm, The Wildlife Oasis Zoo, and a local Kennels. These experiences helped shape my understanding of animal welfare and care standards.
I furthered my education at Myerscough College, where I studied Animal Management for two years. During this time, I specialized in Dog Handling, which led me to consider a career in Dog Grooming. With over five years of experience, I’m now a skilled Dog Groomer and proud to have run my own grooming business for the past five years.
